Cedar Coffee Table
This piece was made from a cedar cut down on Powell in South East Portland. The owner wanted a slab for a mantle and in return for cutting it up I took two 9′ trunk sections for chainsaw sculptures and a big slab for this table. Using the CNC router to flatten the board, cut out the perimeter, and then hollow the bowl was good nerdy fun.
