The Osborne Kitchen
Benjie, from This Was A Tree, and I worked together on these counter tops. We go way back. I actually stayed with him and his wife while we built them since they are some of my favorite people. I really love the puzzle of a good casting project. I think casting and mold making of any sort is a lot like cooking because of the preparation involved. You have to start with the right ingredients and equipment but there is almost always a little improvisation thrown in there to make it interesting. Lots of trouble shooting. Anyway, I don’t want to ramble, so I’ll just say I think making things with your friends is one of life’s greatest joys.
