Here are those splines and if you look close you’ll see the silver dot that is the bullet. Its about the size of a BB.

Walnut Bed
This is a bed made for my wife. A couple simple curves and some beautiful walnut cut in Portland by my good friend Dalton. Upon some closer inspection there are some butterfly splines helping to keep the book-matched headboard and footboard from splitting, and a bullet shot into the tree that is now dead center on the headboard.
